What a beautiful day!
Second Shot with Joann's Photography.
SO, This is my first EVER blog.. and what would be a more fitting than this beautiful day.
A little Prelude..
When I began doing photography for the public, I said out loud MULTIPLE times, I WILL NOT DO WEDDINGS. Boy was I wrong. I decided I'd like to help out at a wedding, second shooting, assisting, what ever I could do to see what it was all about. So, I talked a patient of mine, and excellent wedding Photographer ( Alisha Comer) into letting me tag along on one of her wedding days. I ended up second shooting with her and at the end of the day I was on cloud nine!! The whole Wedding experience was captivating and exciting! I forgot how heartwarming a wedding day can be as a bride, and even as someone who is witnessing it. I knew then I was determined to do weddings.
Fast forward to a few months later, a co worker of mine showed me some beautiful engagement photos that was exactly the style of photography that I was in to. Naturally, I did some stalking and found out the photographer was Joann Loper. In the photography world, people can either be 'community over competition' or to say it nicely- a tad bit rude. THANKFULLY Joann was in the first group! I contacted her and we met up for coffee right about the time Covid hit. Ill be honest, I felt a bit star struck (for lack of a better word) because to me, her work was Incredible and some of the best I've seen around here in the style that I love. I was just so happy she was willing to meet with me to give me some pointers in how to start out in this business, and she was so incredibly helpful!
Fast forward a few months later and I had the opportunity to work with her a a couple weddings and gain a bit of experience to help me start on my Wedding Photography Journey!
I am so THANKFUL for the opportunity to work with Joann, and to get to capture some images of these two so sweetly in love.
